Hafza Mahdi
Hafza Mahdi studied Psychology at the University of Minnesota and will continue her journey in counseling and psychological studies. She received a Bachelors in Islamic Sciences from the Islamic University of Minnesota. Hafza has successfully initiated a program, running for over a year, where she mentors and teaches Islamic Studies to young girls in the Twin Cities.
Ramla Mohamed
Ramla Mohamed studies IT and will specialize in UX Design/Web Development. She received an Ijaza in Hafs from Imam Feisal Amoudi and is currently studying the ten Qira’at derived from Al-Shatibiyyah. Ramla has been teaching Quran alongside Imam Feisal at Rattil Center in Minneapolis for the last six years.
Asma Ahmed
Asma Ahmed is continuing her studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota with a focus on sustainability. She serves on the local board of NSBE and is a co-founder of BRIDGE. She received an Ijazah in Hafs from Imam Feisal Amoudi and an Associates in Islamic Sciences from Abubakar As Siddiq Islamic Center.
Aisha Aden
Aisha Aden received a bachelors in Biochemistry at the University of St. Thomas and plans to continue her studies in medicine. She received an Associates in Islamic Sciences from Abubakar As-Siddiq Islamic Center and is pursuing an Ijaza in Hafs from Imam Feisal Amoudi. Aisha taught at Abubakar As-Siddiq Islamic Center as a Quran teacher for five years and has been teaching Islamic studies for the last two years.
